High School Football Officiating

Let's discuss pre-game interaction with trainers and university employees. Some people think we just walk on the area and officiate the experience, right? Wrong!! Today I will discuss the pregame schedule and all the details we address as a secondary university soccer group.

As a concept, we like to be on the area at least 35 minutes before start time. During now associates of the group should meet with each crew's go trainer and follow these guidelines of communication:

The Great School Football white hat (Referee):

* Does most of the talking
* He is your 'General' - please allow him to sustain that level of regard and professionalism
* He will present the group members
* Everyone drinks hands, displaying the go trainer respect
* The umpire requests the go trainer if all gamers are lawfully prepared - do all gamers have the appropriate playing equipment?
* Do any gamers have any molds that may require a physician's accepted note to play?
* Do any gamers have any parcels or tooth braces that need to be analyzed for steel or distinct sides and for appropriate cushioning (safety concerns)?
* If there are any molds, parcels or tooth braces the umpire advices the umpire to review them for appropriate padding
* Does the group run any unique structures or technique performs so that the group knows in advance to watch for them?
* Does the crew's qb toss remaining or right passed (so that the umpire knows which part to be on for the quarterback's protection)?
* Is the crew's area objective kicker remaining or right footie (so that the group knows their roles on area objectives or additional points)?
* The umpire declares any unique factors of focus this year - part time approval in the gamers box, equine receiver, etc.
* Does the home group have any unique activities before experience or during half-time that may take additional time?
* The umpire will provide the trainer a card with the crew's titles and positions
* The umpire will ask the trainer who is the 'get back' trainer - this is the trainer who allows the part range formal control the group box
* The umpire will ask the trainer to recognize the experience soccer person
* The umpire will then ask the trainer if he has any questions for the crew

The Great School Football Umpire:

* Helps the umpire when conference with coaches
* Allows the umpire to do most of the talking
* Opinions any certification, i.e., physician's notices for any gamers with toss or wraps
* Opinions cushioning for molds, parcels or tooth braces to evaluate the appropriate security for player safety

The Great School Football Linesman

* Assessments the "line to gain" devices for several things
* Assessments that the stores actually evaluate 10 metres (or 15 metres for 6 man) ( don't have a good laugh, at times the stores are too short!)
* The linesman conveys with the sequence crew:

He describes what they should do and should not do
He informs them to never shift unless the umpire or linesman are signaling to shift to the next soccer spot
He informs the down box individual to shift to his finding foot each down
He informs the down box individual to handle the sequence video (for measurements) each first down
He informs the down box individual where to position the sequence clip
He informs the whole sequence group to never shift the stores or down box if they see a charge marker
He informs the whole sequence group to drop the stores (another reason for the clip) if perform comes their way

* Do the stores have a item of record straight in the center at the 5 garden mark?
* Now why would you ever need a foolish item of record in the center of the chains?

It allows the linesman and umpire determine whether the charge will result in a first down
The record enables you to know if a 5 garden charge or charge inside the 10 (half the distance) provides you with a possible first down
As the umpire you don't have to think, you can view the record and know if a 5 garden charge gives you a first down
We try to substitute that record every game

The Great School Football Line Judge:

* Protects and looks at the experience balls
* Communicates to the soccer individual to always stay near the range evaluate and linesman for quick soccer spinning when a soccer is needed
* 'talks' to the soccer individual to always recover the experience paintballs when they go out of range during plays
* 'talks' to the soccer individual to position a soccer behind the objective content before an additional factor so that the soccer is prepared for the crew
* Opinions the starting time

The Great School Football Returning Judge:

* Is accountable for the experience timing
* Is accountable for the 25 second time - moment when the "ready for play" is signaled
* Is accountable for the 45/15 second here we are sometimes outs and between scores
* Is accountable for:

    conference eventually operator
interacting the alerts to time operator
interacting the extra time process eventually operator
interacting to turn off any horns at the end of the period timing
interacting eventually owner to look for him to start the half-time clock

As a group, you need to be sure that everyone knows their pre-game liability. This will help you sustain reliability with the trainers and university authorities which will lead to a much better activity for everyone.
